Teacher Jobs - Teacher Jobs Information

Teacher Qualifications to teach abroad

To work in an international school you need to be suitably qualified.

The qualifications required to work internationally vary widely; whilst some require a BEd or PGCE many only ask for a formal teacher training/qualification from a recognized institution.

School requirements

When you sign up with TiES you will be informed of the specific qualifications required for individual school. Teaching English qualifications such as TEFL can be a very useful addition but will not usually suffice on their own.

Many schools look for a minimum of two or three years' teaching experience which has been carried out in an English-medium school.

Newly qualified?

Newly qualified teachers can apply and are frequently offered teaching opportunities, especially if they have prior experience of living or working abroad and /or have travelled widely.

Should you require any further guidance on writing or uploading your CV please do not hesitate to contact TiES.

Register and Upload your CV

Register your details today and upload you CV and details and we will start to work with you to find a great international teaching job.
