altThis new International School in Germany plans to open with first, second and third grade levels in august 2009. This primary school programme combines proven insights and teaching methods from a number of national educational systems with the vast knowledge and experience of international schools. The same is true of the middle and upper school programmes. Once the school has opened, additional grade levels will be introduced in response to demand. This includes Early Primary Classes (ages 4 and 5) as well as middle and upper grade levels.

Primary School Teachers

 Information:

This International School invites applications from teachers with successful primary school experience (RIS will apply to be a IBPYP candidate school) to join RIS in August 2009.

The ideal candidates should have:

  • Empathy for children, their needs and their potential.
  • Positive interpersonal skills that allow them to enjoy RIS parents as partners in the learning of their children.
  • A desire to continue to grow professionally.
  • Commitment to inquiry-based learning as mandated in IBPYP programs (see www.ibo.org).
  • The ability to work in a cooperative manner as a team member.
  • Fluent proficiency in the English language is required. * Demonstrated interest in German language and culture.
