New Cambridge International Primary School Planned

PUNE: The Bharati Vidyapeeth University (BVU) announced on Monday its move to launch an international school that will offer the Cambridge international primary programme in Dubai, starting in September this year. Simultaneously, BVU's offshore centre at Ras Al Khaima (RAK), one of the seven emirates in the UAE, will go functional in September with full-time degree courses in business administration, computer application and masters in business administration.

International school without licence, attendance invalid

Olomouc, North Moravia, Dec 17 (CTK) - The international school in Olomouc, attended by 27 children of mainly foreign parents, lacks the necessary licence without which the pupils' school attendance cannot be recognised, Education Ministry spokeswoman Katerina Boehmova has told CTK.

Foreign School Quota Set at 30% for Koreans

A number of restrictions on foreign schools will be eased or removed from January (2009) at the earliest, the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology said Monday. "We expect easier rules in establishing quality foreign schools and attracting more foreign investors to Korea. The schools will be able to get financial support from the government,’’ said Sung Sam-je, director of the planning division of the ministry.
